Indie game developer Zeptolab, in partnership with Studio Licensing and Established Brands Licensing, has inked new  licensing deals for its successful Cut the Rope property.

Licensees for North America include AllStar Distributing (vending accessories), Color-a-Cookie (cookie decoration set and pre-decorated cookies), Decopac (cake decorations and kits), Innovative Concepts in Entertainment (amusement redemption games and merchandisers), Simply Natural Foods (fruit snacks, gummies and hard candy) and Trends International (stationery including bookmarks, calendars and posters).

In addition, Leese Enterprises will produce a range of novelty candy and chocolate for the Canadian retail market.

Since Chillingo published Cut the Rope in October 2010, the app has been downloaded more than 100 million times and is played in 125 countries worldwide.

The latest deals further expand the IP’s licensing program which has more than 30 licensees  including toys and games from Mattel, board games from Hasbro, sleepwear and loungewear from Li & Fung and comic books from Ape.
