Disney XD has partnered with ESPN on a new short-form series entitled Disney XD ESPN Sport Science which exposes sports’ biggest myths and will premiere on September 29 at 11:00 a.m. ET/PT.

Hosted by Kickin’ It star Leo Howard and black belt martial artist John Brenkus, the series features professional athletes, including NBA star Dwight Howard (Los Angeles Lakers) NFL star Vernon Davis (San Franciso 49ers), former MLB star Nomar Garciaparra and snowboarder Shaun White, who use state-of-the-art scientific facilities to uncover the mysteries behind popular sports myths.

Each episode is broken into three segments, with the hosts using scientific experiments to test topics, including laws of gravity, momentum, size, speed, skill and stamina.
