Entertainment One Family (eOne Family) has secured a number of new broadcasting deals across Asia for its hit preschool series Peppa Pig and additional kids shows.

In Taiwan, the Eastern Broadcasting Corporation has snapped up Peppa Pig for its children’s pay TV channel Yo Yo, and also signed a Peppa Pig DVD distribution deal, while free-to-air broadcaster PTS has picked up Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom and the animated feature short Lost and Found (both expected to air this year).

Moving to Hong Kong, terrestrial TV channel TVB has acquired both Peppa Pig and Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom, and Hong Kong home entertainment distributor Deltamac has come on board to handle DVD rights for both series with releases expected towards the end of 2012.

Meanwhile, Singapore’s Mediacorp has scooped up Peppa Pig, Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom and farmyard-themed preschool series Tractor Tom for its free-TV channel Okto this fall.

Finally, Peppa Pig, Humf and Tractor Tom will begin airing this summer in Thailand thanks to a new deal by Thailand Cineplex.
