Spanish children’s collectables company E-Max has partnered with Rovio Entertainment to produce a sticker collection and a series of trading cards across North America based on the massively popular Angry Birds franchise.

Kodo Studios, E-Max’s exclusive distributor in North America, will handle distribution duties and the sticker collection, which includes 178 stickers, will launch September 1.

A sticker album will also be launched and includes twelve starter stickers and a fold-out poster while the trading card collection will launch October 1 and features 180 cards with a simple game play concept.

The deal comes as Rovio recently announced that merchandise made up around 30% of its revenue in 2011, close to US$30 million.
