Twenty-four hour preschool channel Sprout is welcoming three new series exclusive to US audiences and new episodes of returning series to its fall programming slate.

New series to Spout set to debut on Monday, August 27 include the CG-animated, Blue-Zoo-produced Olive the Ostrich, which is set to air as part of The Sunny Side Up Show and during The Good Night Show bedtime block. The series features a problem-solving ostrich and real pictures by children brought to life by animators.

Also premiering is the new animated preschool comedy series Wibbly Pig based on Mick Inkpen’s Wibbly Pig book series, which 9 Story co-produces with UK-based Wish Films.

The series focuses on the humor and fun of the daily routine of a young child by following the day-to-day and fantasy play activities of Wibbly Pig.

Wibbly Pig was originally commissioned by BBC’s CBeebies, TVO and Knowledge Network and is currently seen in more than 100 countries worldwide.

Rounding out the new series premieres is Millimages’ hit preschool series 64 Zoo Lane featuring the nighttime adventures of a young girl named Lucy who escapes with her friend Georgina the giraffe to a nearby zoo where she learns new and funny things about the animals who live there.

For returning series, new episodes of the hit Sprout and Jim Henson Company-produced series Pajanimals and 26 new eps of The Good Night Show for Sprout’s signature bedtime block will air. Viewers can also access songs and videos from The Good Night Show on its microsite on SproutOnline.com.
