Picture Box and TVO ink global distribution deal

Toronto,Canada-based Picture Box Distribution has reached an international sales agreement with Canadian provincial pubcaster TVO.

The deal will see the company manage global distribution for several of TVO’s on-air and online kids properties, starting with the Tumbletown franchise (pictured), which includes Tumbletown Reads, Tumbletown Tales and Inside Tumbletown.

The series stars Tumbleweed the hamster and friends, and aims to teach children about reading, math and finances.

The Tumbletown series is just the latest addition to Picture Box’s growing kids’ catalogue, which already includes series such as CBC Kids’ What’s Your News? and Treehouse’s Roll Play.
