Fox Consumer Products expands Ice Age campaign

In support of the upcoming July 13 premiere of the 3D feature film Ice Age: Continental Drift, Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products has expanded its Ice Age global retail promotional campaign.

In support of the upcoming July 13 premiere of the 3D feature film Ice Age: Continental Drift, Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products has expanded its global retail promotional campaign based on the fourth installment in the hit franchise.

In addition to the November release of live entertainment show Ice Age: Continental Drift at Wembley Arena in London and the ongoing success of a live attraction called Ice Age Dawn of the Dinosaur – The 4-D Experience, Fox Consumer Products has also signed a partnership with Russia’s X-5 Retail Group (apparel, toys, stationery and back-to-school, paper goods, beverages and snacks) and Toys ‘R’ Us which will launch specially designed Ice Age boutiques in its US locations on July 1.

The boutiques will offer an exclusive line of Ice Age plush products from Just Play as well as additional products including video games (Activision), figures (The Promotions Factory), children’s books (Harper Collins), board games (Cardinal Industries), backpacks and lunch bags (Accessory Innovations).

In other deals, clothing retailers H&M and C&A are on board for a line of branded Ice Age kidswear and Fox Consumer Products has plans to develop a line of Ice Age infant apparel.
