Toronto, Canada’s Sinking Ship Entertainment and its distribution partner Breakthrough Entertainment have snagged two new licensees for its education-based, dinosaur-themed property Dino Dan, and extended an existing deal for its online merchandise store.

In deals brokered by Toronto’s The Licensing Shop, Fiesta Toys is on-board for plush toys and Hybrid Apparel for t-shirts.

Live Nation’s Musictoday has alo extended its agreement to operate the official Dino Dan online store.

The new agreements further expand the growing licensing and merchandising program for the brand, which already includes Ruckus Media (eBooks, enhanced eBooks, story-based apps), Ncircle Entertainment (DVDs), and Pioneer Balloons and Geoworld (toys).

In January, the Dino Dan hybrid live-action/animated series was renewed by Nick Jr. (US), TVO (Canada) and TVA (French Canada) for a second season of 52 x 11-minute episodes, which are currently in production. To date, the series has been sold into more than 100 countries worldwide.
