Viacom International Media Networks has strengthened its partnership with Televisa by signing a five-year programming deal with the Mexican broadcaster.

The deal includes distribution rights for hit Nickelodeon IPs including SpongeBob SquarePants, Fairly Odd Parents, Kung Fu Panda, Fanboy & Chum Chum, Big Time Rush, iCarly, and Supah Ninjas.

Coinciding with the deal, Televisa has renewed new seasons of Nickelodeon’s Penguins of Madagascar, SpongeBob SquarePants, Drake & Josh and iCarly.

The move comes after January deal that saw Nickelodeon and Televisa order 80 episodes of a new series based on an original one-hour US adaptation of the Mexican telenovela, Reach for a Star.
