Sanrio promotes Ronald Denecke to CFO for EMEA

Sanrio Company, the international company best known for Hello Kitty, has upped Ronald Denecke to CFO for EMEA from his previous position of attorney at Hamburg, Germany-based Sanrio GmbH.

Effective immediately, Denecke, who will report directly to Sanrio Japan, will be tasked with overseeing the company’s daily financial operations and manage the development of the brand as it grows across the EMEA region.

Since its launch in 1960, Sanrio has created and licensed more than 400 characters including the ubiquitous Hello Kitty.
