L.A.-based Hasbro Studios has hired Sheetal Merchant as its manager of international sales and distribution focusing on Latin America.

In her new position, Merchant will draw on her more than 10 years of experience working in TV sales and distribution with an emphasis on kids and family programming.

She jumps over to Hasbro Studios’ London office from her most recent position as Zodiak Kids’ sales manager for Latin America and Spain, where she worked on kids properties including Yo Gabba Gabba!, Waybuloo, Escape from Scorpion Island and Dani’s House.

Prior to her time at Zodiak, she worked on IPs including Bob the Builder, Thomas the Tank Engine and Barney while serving as a sales exec at HIT Entertainment responsible for Eastern Europe, Scandinavia and the Indian sub-continent.
