Charlie Caminada exits kids biz

After 37 in the children’s entertainment industry, including a 15-year stint at HIT Entertainment and seven years at London-based children’s IP specialist Ludorum, Charlie Caminada will be stepping down from his latest position as COO and co-founder of Ludorum when he retires at the company’s annual general meeting on June 28, 2012.
He will also retire from its board of directors at the same time, but will remain as a company shareholder.
During his tenure at Ludorum, Caminada helped build the global success of preschool brand Chuggington, taking a page from his stint at HIT Entertainment where he helped guide the development of Thomas & Friends and Bob the Builder.
His replacement is yet to be announced.
