UK-based Channel 5′s preschool block Milkshake! has picked up Sesame Workshop’s  CG-animated preschool series Abby’s Flying Fairy School, which is set to air on the net on Sunday, April 29.

With animation design led by Peter De Seve (character designer for Fox’s feature film Ice Age), the series features popular Sesame puppet character and fairy-in-training Abby Cadabby and her friends in CG form, including fairies, trolls and a unicorn/gerbil named Niblet, as well as Abby’s mother, the Fairy Godmother, and her babysitter Snow White.

Designed to encourage problem-solving and critical thinking skills in kids, Abby’s Flying Fairy School follows the adventures of its fairies-in-training who attend a school that actually flies.
