Elastic Rights and ERT ink deals for Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!

Bolder Media and Starz Media’s hit animated comedy series for preschoolers Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! is headed to Greece.

Greece’s top public TV broadcaster ERT has picked up season one and two (52 x half hours) in a deal with distributor Elastic Rights Greece, an affiliate company of Spain’s Elastic Rights.

The series, produced by Bolder Media in association with Starz Media’s Film Roman Animation Studio, is set to debut in Greece later this year. It currently airs in more than 100 countries worldwide including Portugal (Panda, RTP 2), Turkey (Cartoon network), Spain (Playhouse Disney) and is about to premiere on Spain’s Clan TVE.

Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! features the adventures of quirky animated character Wubbzy and his friends who solve kid-related problems through teamwork, humor and fun in a magical world called Wuzzleburg.

The series made its global debut in 2006 on Nickelodoen and currently airs daily on Nick Jr.
