Disney orders new family comedy pilot

Bits & Pieces, a new multi-camera comedy pilot for families that features short vignettes about funny family moments, has been ordered by Disney Channel.

The pilot, which recounts humorous stories of how a family, including four kids, copes after a high school basketball coach marries the school psychologist, heads into production in June and Disney is considering it for a full series that would debut in 2013.

Andy Fickman (The Game Plan, Race to Witch Mountain) and Betsy Sullenger (You Again) are set to executive produce with John D. Beck and Ron Hart (Shake It Up, According to Jim) on-board as writers.
