Zodiak Kids inks co-pro deal for new preschool show

Zodiak Media Group’s UK-based children’s production and distribution arm has struck up a three-way international co-production deal for 52 x 11-minute CGI preschool series Quick, Quack, Duck!

Zodiak Kids prodco The Foundation is a creator and producer on record, in partnership with Korean animation studio and online game developer High 1 Entertainment and Tel Aviv-based QQD Limited, which created the original concept.

Based on an award-winning short film called The Happy Duckling, Quick, Quack, Duck! stars a seven-year-old boy and his loyal duck friend, who navigate an interactive pop-up world full of surprises.

Yvette Kaplan (Ice Age, Beavis & Butthead) and Gili Dolev (The Happy Duckling) are the series’ co-creators, and The Foundation’s Nigel Pickard (pictured) and Vanessa Hill will executive produce with QQD’s Ronen Shani.
