Italian broadcaster Switchover Media (free DTT and satellite channels K2 and Frisbee) and France’s Lagardere Active (Canal J, Gulli and TiJi in multiple territories) have joined forces and finalized a cooperation agreement.

The channels expect their joint-venture, which will cover more than 40 million households in France, Russia and Italy, to open up new opportunities to do business with producers/distributors for exclusive free- and pay-TV broadcasting rights, licensing rights and home entertainment rights.

Lagardère Active broadcasts 11 channels in 39 countries, while Switchover’s K2 and Frisbee reach roughly 20 million Italian households on DTT and Sky Italia.
