Classic Media signs TV deals in Middle East and Africa

London, UK-based Classic Media has inked multiple broadcasting deals throughout the Middle East and Africa for more than 225 hours of kids programming including series Tinga Tinga Tales, Life with Boys, Guess with Jess and Postman Pat.

London, UK-based Classic Media has inked multiple broadcasting deals throughout the Middle East and Africa for more than 225 hours of kids programming including series Tinga Tinga Tales, Life with Boys, Guess with Jess and Postman Pat.

SABC (South Africa), Citizen TV (Kenya) and Multimesh (Ghana) have snapped up preschool series Tinga Tinga Tales, Nickelodeon (Pan-Africa), and Noga (Israel) have acquired tween-targeting Life with Boys, and sales of preschool series Guess with Jess have been made to ATV’s kids’ channel Minika (Turkey), and Kazakhstan TV’s children’s channel Balapan.

Integral (Middle East) has acquired VOD rights for Guess with Jess and has also picked up Postman Pat (series three to eight) and faith-based series 3-2-1 Penguins.

The deals follow on the heels of recent sales by Classic Media to European broadcasters for Tinga Tinga Tales, Guess with Jess, and Postman Pat.
