Health-oriented preschool franchise LazyTown now has a range of nutritious drink products (juice and natural spring water) set to launch tomorrow in more than 300 of grocer Sainsbury’s UK stores, thanks to a deal by Turner CN Enterprises (TCNE) and UK juice supplier, Gerber Juice Company.

The drinks contain no artificial sweeteners, flavors, colors or preservatives, and the line features three flavors based on popular characters from the series (Sportacus Apple & Blackcurrant, Stephanie Lemon & Lime and Robbie Rotten Orange & Peach).

The deal is Turner’s first for the brand in the fast-moving consumer goods market and a full rollout to retail is expected after the initial launch.

Gerber also plans to have Sportacus make appearances during in-store promotions later in the year.

The new deal further adds to LazyTown’s expanding L&M program which already has New York-based agency The Joester Loria Group on board in the US and Alliance Entertainment-owned NCircle Entertainment for LazyTown DVDs that will be distributed stateside this year.
