Classic Media secures European broadcasting deals

London, UK-based Classic Media has inked numerous deals across Central and Eastern Europe that will provide more than 350 hours of kids programming with free and pay TV, home entertainment and IPTV partners.

London, UK-based Classic Media has inked numerous deals across Central and Eastern Europe that will provide more than 350 hours of kids programming with free and pay TV, home entertainment and IPTV partners.

Preschool series Tinga Tinga Tales and Guess with Jess have been acquired in Hungary (MTVA) and Russia (Channel One Russia’s children’s channel, Karusel).

In addition, Postman Pat has been picked up by Czech TV (Czech Republic) and Orlando Kids (Ex-Yugoslavia), Nan and Lili and Little Red Tractor by Voxell across CIS, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, She-Ra: Princess of Power and Voltron: Defenders of the Universe were also acquired for Russia’s 2×2 Channel’s retro slot, and has also picked up the CBBC’s comedy shorts, OOglies.
