The Hub

US kids cablenet, The Hub has promoted Ted Biaselli to VP of programming and Dan Pimentel to the post of chief finance and operations officer.

Biaselli, formerly executive director of programming, will report to SVP of programming Donna Ebbs. He’ll work closely with Ebbs and the network’s director of programming, Carin Davis Siegel, in guiding The Hub’s slate of original new series from development through production, with direct oversight for specific programming. He joined The Hub in August 2009 as director of programming and has been responsible for some of the network’s most successful programs such as R.L. Stine’s the Haunting Hour, Pound Puppies and Family Game Night. In addition, he is responsible for the development of the upcoming new Hub original series Kaijudo: Rise of the Duel Masters and The Aquabats! Super Show!, which premiered March 3.

Formerly SVP/CFO with the network, Pimentel’s expanded responsibilities include oversight of both the financial administration and operational functions of the network, providing support on all business initiatives. He will serve as liaison with key stakeholders at parent companies Discovery Communications and Hasbro and will coordinate cross-departmental alignment in achieving strategic goals.
