London-based licensing agent Target Entertainment has announced that two new songs (“My Name Is” and a medley track) from the Dinamo-created preschool learning series Abadas are available for download today on the iTunes store.

The songs come in advance of 10 new Abadas episodes, which will air from February 27 on CBeebies.

Each episode of the series, which aims to stimulate and develop kids’ conversational skills in a fun way, is introduced by a young boy, Ben, who opens his magical pop-up book to look for his friends. Once opened, kids and parents enter the Abadas world where Ela the Fox, Hari the Hippo and Seren the Bat help them solve a highly visual word game by engagement through song, dance and comedy.

Abadas launched on October 24, 2011 simultaneously on networks in England (BBC CBeebies), Scotland (BBC Alba), Wales (S4/C) and Ireland (RTÉ).

Target handles global licensing, TV and DVD sales for the Abadas brand.
