Peppa Pig headed to Gulli

eOne has landed a deal with global media group Lagardère Active to broadcast popular preschool series Peppa Pig daily on its free terrestrial kidsnet Gulli in France starting this month.

The series, which is currently a top-rated show on Lagardère Active’s cable preschool channel TiJi, will also air on Gulli’s TV on demand system Gulli Replay. TiJi will continue to air the series and has recently signed on for season five.

eOne, which has grown the Peppa Pig brand extensively throughout the world, will support Gulli by launching marketing initiatives that include a dedicated French website, a Facebook page, character costume visits and other consumer marketing activities. The property will also be featured in TiJi’s bimonthly magazine, Les Recres de TiJi, with original stories and games.
