Jim Henson names new directors

The Jim Henson Company has promoted two members of its creative team, Meghan Sheridan and Blanca Lista, to serve as directors in feature and television development.
Sheridan has been promoted to director of children’s entertainment and will report to Halle Stanford, the EVP of the division while Lista has been upped to director of feature development and will report to Lisa Henson, CEO of The Jim Henson Company.
Both will be responsible for bringing in new projects, writers and talent.
Sheridan, who joined Jim Henson’s children’s entertainment department in 2010, has worked on the production of shows including Dinosaur Train, Me & My Monsters, and current productions Pajanimals and Wilson & Ditch: Digging America.
Lista began at Jim Henson as a story editor in the feature film department in 2009. She is currently working on projects in development including Pinocchio with Guillermo Del Toro and The Doubtful Guest, based on the book by cult author Edward Gorey.
