Radio Disney names VP and GM

Radio Disney has promoted 20-year Disney vet Phil Guerini to its VP and GM and succeeds Sean Cocchia who has been promoted to the newly created position of SVP, business operations and GM, Disney Channels Worldwide.
Guerini had been the VP of marketing for Radio Disney since October 2008. In his new role, he will be responsible for the strategic direction of the network, which is available in the US via 31 owned terrestrial radio stations and via RadioDisney.com, Sirius and XM satellite radio, iTunes Radio Tuner, mobile phones, the Radio Disney iPhone and Android apps and Radio Disney’s Facebook page.
Prior to his time at Radio Disney, Guerini was executive director, broadcast and strategic marketing, Walt Disney Records from 2004 to 2008 after serving 12 years at Disney Parks & Resorts.
