Licensees hop for It’s Happy Bunny

New York-based CopCorp Licensing has secured two new licensees and renewed three existing licensees for its Jim Benton tween-focused It's Happy Bunny cartoon-based brand.

New York-based CopCorp Licensing has secured two new licensees and renewed three existing licensees for its Jim Benton tween-focused It’s Happy Bunny cartoon-based¬† brand.

Sao Paulo-based Angelotti Licensing is on board to manage the licensing program for the lovable and spanky rabbit in Brazil and BN Licensing will handle the property in Benelux (Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxembourg).

The licensee renewals include MJA Licensing (France), Sinerji (Turkey), and Plus Licens (Eastern Europe).

The new deals add to a growing list of licensees already on board in CP categories including greeting cards, posters, accessories, apparel, key chains, and confectionery.

Other properties by US cartoonist Jim Benton that have been licensed include It’s JK Monsters, Kissy Doodles, Meany Doodles, and The Misters.

It’s Happy Bunny, which has earned more than US$500 million in global retail sales,¬† was also recently made available through a deal with www.KimmyShop.com, the Canada-based specialized children’s character merchandise e-tailer.
