Children’s music brand Kidz Bop has joined forces with satellite radio station SiriusXM to introduce KIDZ BOP Block Party!, a two-hour weekly radio show focused for kids that will debut on Kids Place Live, channel 78, on January 13 at 6pm EST.

By going online at kidzbop.com, kids in North America can help pick weekly playlists and segments, talk with celebrities and have their voices heard.

In celebration of the show’s launch, a KIDZ BOP Block Party! Super Contest is being offered to give kids a chance to win a trip to New York City to be a guest DJ on the show.

The news comes in advance of the release of Kidz Bop 21 next week and comes after a recent partnership between the music brand and Leapfrog to distribute downloadable content through LeapFrog’s new digital app center.
