Alliance Entertainment-owned NCircle Entertainment will distribute LazyTown DVDs in the US starting next year.
The distribution deal for the health and wellness-themed preschool series, which launched exclusively in the US on Sprout in September, marks the debut of LazyTown as a DVD brand in the US.
The DVDs will be distributed in English and Spanish and will feature the TV series’ blend of live action, puppetry and CGI animation.
The brand, which was acquired by Turner Broadcasting in September, is the latest to join NCircle Entertainment’s growing roster of DVD titles, which include animated and live-action children’s programs like Pocoyo, The Gruffalo and Sid the Science Kid.
