A line of new interactive and personalized iPad apps based on stories from the PBS Kids children’s literacy series Between the Lions has been released by Kideo, a creator of personalized and branded video products for preschoolers.

Now available on iTunes for US$7.99, The Three Little Pigs app, inspired by the series’ trademark animated stories, features 35 pages of interactive activities made possible via PixFusion’s photo-personalized technology.

The app, for instance, features a Blow the House Down game that allows kids to blow into the iPad speaker to literally try and blow an animated house to the ground.  Additionally, the eBook includes an original video segment from a Between the Lions episode.

The Three Little Pigs is the first to launch in the Kideo Classic Tales enhanced eBook series.
