Pocoyo

Spanish media company Zinkia Entertainment, creator of the Pocoyo property, will list its shares on the New York Stock Exchange Over-the-Counter market.

The US Securities and Exchange Commission issued the move. The company says the listing will allow for Zinkia to increase its exposure to the US market and diversify its investment base.

Pocoyo toys, meanwhile, are also getting some more US exposure. Zinkia has renewed its licensing partnership with TCG, formerly The Canadian Group, for Pocoyo-branded preschool games and puzzles.

Under the new deal, TCG will manufacture items like six-in-one and 24- piece puzzles, magnetic creations and memory games for North American distribution.

The Spanish-bred Pocoyo series currently airs in the US on Nick Jr., Univision and select PBS.
