Radio Disney is hosting its inaugural Festival of Giving campaign, which is designed to encourage kids to give back this holiday season.

On December 3 and 4, Radio Disney stations in more than 30 markets will bring together multiple charities in their local communities.   All of the events will have a variety of organizations on-site to take donations including Toys for Tots, Salvation Army, The Humane Society, local food banks and animal shelters. Each event will be hosted by Radio Disney’s local stations and will feature music, interactive entertainment and prizes.

The initiative kicks off the larger Radio Disney’s Project Family campaign, which is meant to inspire families to spend time together in order to impact their communities.

The kids and tween-skewing radio network is currently available on 34 terrestrial radio stations and is also available via RadioDisney.com, Sirius and XM satellite radio, iTunes Radio Tuner, mobile phones and on the Radio Disney iPhone and Android Apps.
