It looks like the Where’s Waldo? brand is finding a home on the silver screen, as MGM has secured feature film rights to the Classic Media property.

MGM’s VP of production Cassidy Lange will oversee the live-action family film for the studio.

Created by Martin Handford and first published in 1987, the Waldo character has sold more than 55 million books worldwide and has also been spotted in gaming, selling more than 4.6 million apps for ithe Phone and iPad.
