Classic comic characters Popeye the Sailor and Beetle Bailey are set to star in a new Bloomingdale’s retail program that features branded, military-inspired apparel for men and boys.

Launching in 34 stores across the US through January 31, the collection, in collaboration with King Feature Syndicate and designer Darren Romanelli, features high-end apparel, accessories and collectible items from brands including Converse, Medicom, Psycho Bunny, Junk Food Clothing and Altru.

The collection, which is housed in specialized boutiques within Bloomingdael’s stores, utilizes the original cartoon designs of Beetle Bailey cartoonist Mort Walker and Popeye creator Elzie Crisler Segar.

The products range in price from US$26 to US$1,785.
