The University of Southern California (USC) will play host to a new range of Marvel-themed apparel featuring the school’s colors and Trojan mascot.

Marvel’s co-branding deal with Silver Star Merchandising marks the entertainment licensing company’s further expansion into the sports marketplace with previously signed deals with the Dallas Cowboys and NBA.

The Super Heroes co-branded apparel collection combines USC’s athletic program with characters like Captain America, Spider-Man, Iron Man, Thor, Hulk and Wolverine. The collection will feature apparel and headwear for infants, kids and adults.

The product line will be available at mass and sporting good retailers, USC bookstores and online beginning in late September. Earlier this year, Silver Star Merchandising announced a wide-ranging license agreement with USC to manufacture and distribute fashion jerseys, t-shirts, hats and other athletic-themed apparel.

Of course, the apparel isn’t just targeted at USC students. The university has one of the largest alumni bases in the country.
