iStoryTime’s interactive eBooks are heading to the Barnes & Noble Nook Color eReader thanks to a new partnership between the digital book library and the US retailer.

Three of iSToryTime’s most popular iPhone and iPad storybook apps – How to Train Your Dragon, Kung Fu Panda 2 and The Smurfs – are now available as Nook apps for US $2.99 apiece.

The Nook Color has largely expanded its collection of immersive children’s picture books, which take advantage of the device’s lower price point (US$249) and seven-inch VividView color touchscreen. Rumor has it Barnes & Noble is looking to release a second version of its Nook Color eReader by the end of this month.
