MarVista to sell more Saban series

Saban Brands has named MarVista Entertainment the international distributor for its live-action Ninja Turtles, Beetleborgs and VR Troopers brands.

Saban Brands has named MarVista Entertainment the international distributor for its live-action Ninja Turtles, Beetleborgs and VR Troopers brands.

MarVista, which is already Saba’s distribution partner for Power Rangers, will re-introduce these properties to the international marketplace with 206 half-hour episodes available for sale at next month’s MIPCOM 2011.

In particular, the demand for live-action series Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation is expected to be high, with the new CGI series and feature film anticipated to debut in 2012.

Targeting kids ages six to 11, Beetleborgs features magic, monsters, mayhem and dual gender appeal.  V.R. Troopers also targets kids ages six to 11 and uses themes of martial arts and virtual reality.
