September 16, 2011

CBeebies series Driver Dan’s Story Train is moving forward with a new interactive Nintendo DS game.

Consumer software developer Avanquest Software will use Driver Dan imagery, branding and content to create and publish a Nintendo DS and PC activity collection of 12-15 mini games.  The launch is planned for spring 2012 and the deal covers UK and Eire, Australia and New Zealand. The company has a portfolio of more than 200 games for the PC and Nintendo DS, many of which are child-friendly.

This isn’t Driver Dan’s first foray into the digital space. The series’ website is rich with activities, games and program information.

The series, from 3Line Media, in association with twofour54 Abu Dhabi, is entering its second season this fall on CBeebies.
