FremantleMedia Enterprises’ Rebecca Bonbon, the French bulldog character designed by Hello Kitty creator Yuko Shimizu, will be launching at retail in the UK this fall with a range of licensed products.

Toiletries and cosmetic gift sets produced by beauty market leaders Grace Cole are set to roll out in John Lewis and House of Fraser stores across the UK and Harrods in London, as well as on all of the stores’ websites.

Designed to appeal to girls ages eight to 14, the John Lewis range includes a nail polish set, a lip gloss trio, and the lip cracker, three lip glosses shaped like disco balls packaged in the shape of a Christmas cracker. House of Fraser will launch a cosmetics case including body wash, body lotion, bath crystals and a pack of three bath fizzers, as well as a purse with a mini lip gloss attached. Harrods’s stock will include a keepsake box, including body wash, body lotion, body spray, lip gloss and a bath fizzer, as well as a nail polish set, lip gloss set and more.

Across EMEA Rebecca Bonbon has more than 25 licensees creating branded products such as apparel, jewellery, bags, stationery, bedding, blankets, credit card holders, iPhone covers, home decorations and accessories. In the US, FME has an exclusive retail deal with Sears, with Kids Headquarters serving as master licensee, to roll out over 320 products from the girls’ lifestyle brand in over 2,000 stores across the US and Canada. The brand also has more than 50 licensees in Japan.
