In following on its promise to invest in more original content, BBC Worldwide Channels has made new commissions for its international CBeebies channels.

Two series of Mr Bloom’s Nursery (26 x 20 minutes) are the latest in-house investments for BBC Worldwide Channels. The series combines live-action and puppets to show how preschoolers can learn from nurturing plants and vegetables. Produced by the BBC, the show will air on international feeds of CBeebies in 2012.

Mr Bloom’s Nursery joins the slate of new commissions announced by the business this year and that are now in production, which include Andy’s Wild Adventures, which is made by the BBC’s Natural History Unit, Baby Jake, Jollywobbles, series one of Zingzillas Zing Bop, series two of Gigglebiz, series two of ZingZillas, series three of Show Me Show Me, and series six of Nina & the Neurons.
