The girl-oriented Monster High franchise, which currently boasts a series of webisodes and fashion dolls, is making its video game debut this fall through game developer THQ.

Monster High Ghoul Spirit will hit Wii and Nintendo DS/DSi gaming systems in October. The game will allow players to create and customize their own avatars and interact with the entire Monster High student body through special assignments. Seven new episodes have been created especially for the first Monster High video-game experience.

Monster High Ghoul Spirit marks the first project to be announced under a multi-year alliance between THQ and brand-owner Mattel.
