Pocoyo

Zinkia Entertainment’s animated television series Pocoyo is headed for a new half-hour weekend time slot on Nick Jr. US.

Starting July 23, Pocoyo will air on the preschool network on Saturdays and Sundays.

On top of the new Nick Jr. time slot, Pocoyo has achieved milestones online and across social media platforms. The brand’s YouTube Channel now receives more than 50 million hits per month.

Pocoyo began airing on Nick Jr. US last year and has since been steadily building awareness in the US. The series, which follows the adventures of an inquisitive and fun-loving boy as he discovers the world around him, is currently licensed to broadcasters in more than 150 territories worldwide. The brand has been extended to include a virtual world, apps and a Bandai America toy line.
