Toronto-based Arc Productions, recently acquired by a Canadian ownership group from Starz Media US, is building its senior management team with the appointment of Stephanie Denton to head its L.A. office as SVP of sales and business development.

On top of growing the service business through both animation and visual effects projects, Denton will be part of Arc’s foray into the intellectual property business. Formerly Starz Animation Toronto, Arc’s services currently include CG animation, live-action visual effects and stereoscopic 3D for features, television, and high-end video game cinematics.

Denton brings with her a background in domestic and international distribution, independent film financing, and creative development. She has worked for such companies as Bold Films, Lionsgate, Initial Entertainment Group and Lakeshore International.
