Scholastic’s Clifford brand is the newest member of the Kohl’s Cares cause merchandise program at Kohl’s Department Stores, which has raised more than US$180 million to date to support children’s health and education initiatives across the US.

Customers can now purchase exclusive Clifford storybooks at all 1,097 US Kohl’s stores through the end of September. Four exclusive hardcover two-in-one editions of Clifford books along with exclusive coordinating plush toys are available for US$5 each, with 100% of the net profit benefitting children’s health and education initiatives nationwide.  

Author and illustrator Norman Bridwell’s Clifford books have collectively sold more than 126 million copies and have inspired 11 seasons of Clifford the Big Red Dog on PBS KIDS. The property will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2012 and a new live show will debut next year.
