The Power Rangers Samurai boys’ brand is set to appear in a range of published items from Parragon Books. The deal was brokered by UK licensing agent CPLG and brand-owner Saban Brands.

The books will be released in the US before hitting UK shelves from February 2012. The agreement covers a variety of formats including color, sticker & activity books, novelty titles, 3D storybooks and treasuries, as well as the key category of annuals for the UK market.

Power Rangers Samurai, the second incarnation of the hit 1990s series, premiered on Nickelodeon in the US in February 2011 and in the UK in May. The show is the focus of a Bandai toy line, which is due to hit stores in the UK in early July and will be followed by a range of Samurai-themed consumer products.
