Nickelodeon’s tween-oriented Big Time Rush is getting the comic book treatment come this August.

FAME: Big Time Rush: The Graphic Novel, based on the live-action series’ leading boy band, is being developed by Bluewater Productions. The 40-page book, which will retail for US$7.99, will follow the ascension of the boy band and the show’s lead characters, Kendall, Logan, Carlos and James.

Bluewater’s FAME line has already garnered a solid track record with tweens.  Other FAME biography comic books have been based on pop-culture icons including Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga and Beyonce.
