Spanish and Portuguese broadcasters are bolstering their offerings of Viacom children’s and young-adult programming.

Public service broadcaster TVE in Spain has signed for new seasons five and six of Dora The Explorer plus a new deal on SpongeBob SquarePants episodes 121 to178, and relicenses on episodes one through 120. ETB, meanwhile, has signed relicenses on three Nickelodeon animation series – Rugrats seasons one to three, Ren & Stimpy seasons one to three and Aaahh Real Monsters seasons one and two.

In Portugal, multi-channel broadcaster SIC has signed South Park seasons 14 and 15 and a relicense on all seasons of oddball animation Yakkity Yak.

Also in Portugal, TVI is adding to its SpongeBob SquarePants episodes with season five and part of season seven, plus Ni Hai Kai-Lan season two.
