Hasbro transforms with virtual goods market

Virtual goods marketing, licensing and distribution company meemo has picked up a worldwide license with Hasbro for the Transformers brand.

As part of the deal, meemo will develop an integrated global marketing campaign around Transformers-branded virtual goods that will include Facebook gifts and branded clothing for social gaming avatars on a variety of virtual world and social network platforms.

The initial line of virtual goods and virtual gift offerings will be based on Transformers: Dark of the Moon, the latest instalment in Paramount’s billion-dollar movie franchise.
