Studio100 Media and Nickelodeon Germany’s upcoming teen film, House of Anubis, based on the TV series of the same name, has commenced production in Belgium.
House of Anubis is the first Nickelodeon US live-action show produced in the UK by a European producer. In September 2009, the German version of the daily mystery soap began its run on Nickelodeon Germany. The English version followed by making its debut in the US on Nickelodeon earlier this year.
The film, which will be theatrically released by Studio 100 next spring in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, follows a group of teenagers who live in a school boarding house.
