Producer Joel Silver signs on Ben 10 feature film

Cartoon Network’s Ben 10 franchise is headed for the silver screen as a live-action film thanks to a production agreement with Silver Pictures. The film will be produced by action-adventure vet Joel Silver (Die Hard, The Matrix, Sherlock Holmes) along with Dark Castle Entertainment co-presidents Steve Richards and Andrew Rona.
Created by Man of Action, the animated action-adventure television series follows a boy who discovers a strange wrist watch that allows him to transform into 10 different aliens with super powers.
The series premiered on Cartoon Network in January 2006 and has since spawned two spin-offs, two live-action movies for television and a robust toy and gaming program.
