CSC Media Group picks up youth programming in Banff

UK-based channel owner CSC Media Group has picked up three series from Distribution360 during the Banff World Media Festival.

UK-based channel owner CSC Media Group has picked up three series from Distribution360 during the Banff World Media Festival.

Starting later this summer, CSC’s channel Tiny Pop, geared for kids four to six, will air This is Daniel Cook (pictured) and This is Emily Yeung, two 65 x 6-minute series that follow their young title hosts on adventures as they try new activities and meet exceptional people.

Also, later this summer, Kix, CSC’s channel devoted to boys seven to 12, will air Ambition Skatecamp. The 8 x 30-minute series features eight talented young skateboarders competing head-to-head in an intense week of skateboarding competitions for a profile in SBC Skateboard Magazine and a chance to participate in the Maloof Money Cup worth US$450,000 in prize money.

CSC Media Group is a growing digital TV broadcaster with a portfolio of 14 TV channels including four kids channels: Pop, Tiny Pop, PopGirl and Kix. Distribution360 is based in Europe and was co-founded by Canadian prodcos marblemedia and SEVEN24 Films.
